problems with SinglethreadedSo I am writing a communication channel multplexer for AJAX systems that has a very simple interface and produces all output in JSON for ease of integration into a Javascript application -- it isn't AJAX then, but "AJAX" is so fun to say that "AJAX without the X" seems to be the phrase used by ecmascript application developers. Anyway I found that the continuations feature of HTTP::Server::Singlethreaded is not as robust as I thought it was, which is a headache, but I will be able to drop the "separate poll and continue functions" feature since clearly, as it has been broken all along, nobody is using it. That's a relief. And I have user agent statistics on the moving average hit counter, but I'm not exposing them at this time -- not sure exactly how to. It's a little distressing, how many of the hits counted are just spiders. Those eight people a day who read this blog? Mostly link crawlers of one ilk or another.
