Areating bouys againrevised vision for aerating buoys for dispersing the hypoxic zone in the gulf of Mexico: Floating platforms anchored in place. The hypoxic zone is about 400 ft deep; run a tube down along the anchor line and blow air. The buoys pump air by harnessing wave motion, wind power, or solar heat-exchanging motors -- some engineering is needed -- the concept is, design and manufacture these floating stations that blow air out at the sea floor, causing mixing. Just like an air stone aerating a little aquarium. Let's get this thing federally funded ASAP!
