There is an article in the aug 10 2006 Nature discussing putting granulated charcoal on fields as a possible way to get all the CO2 out of the air.
The plants love it too.
I am excited by this prospect and wish I could go to the local lawn and garden center and buy half a ton to spread on my lawn as fill dirt.
