movie about Domino Harvey

saw "Domino" last night. A thrilling thriller. Lots of blood, scenes reminiscent of Reservoir Dogs or Natural Born Killers or, I suppose, Kalifornia, which I haven't seen.

"Taking Celebrity Hostages" as a strategy to reduce body count.

Domino passed away shortly before the film was released, from natural causes.

After seeing this film you will never take literally instructions given on a failing cell phone connection ever again.

The visual style is most intense, as advertised. Reminiscent of Strange Days. Apparently the film was a decade in the making, so the mid-nineties action style is what Tony Scott is into, the school he is from.

the plot was so tangled. Not sure if it really made sense. Gangsters seeming far too reactionary. And trigger-happy. The plot doesn't matter though as the film tries to give a flavor of a culture and succeeds at that in my opinion.
