a suggestion for gmail

dear Google suggestion box:

How about a configuration option for outbound gmail-smtp relay and
accompanying release of a CGI program
that translates the posted gmail message into a sendmail command line
or an interaction w/ the smtp port
on localhost?

The inspiration for this was that
a RBL blocked a piece of gmail I sent.
If outbound was through our servers,
we would not have been listed.

Furthermore, it would help with adoption of gmail in places that
have server-level outbound policies -- but that would not be the main point.

Implementing these two things -- the setting for local gmail-smtp first hop relaying and the CGI program whouldn't take more than two days; writing the documentation for it would take longer.

The feature set on gmail has become kind of static. How do I sign up
to continue testing crazy new features? That's a different suggestion I guess.
