Broadcasting live, from the municipal ketchup works

Every time I find myself filling the little paper cups from the ketchup tap at McDonalds I cannot help but imagine scenarios leading to a (dystopian?) situation where everyone, or at least everyone who cares to subscribe to the service, has ketchup on tap in their homes, all pumped from huge, central munipal vats.

Today I realized that Prairie Home Companion, since they regularly make fun of both ketchup and town hall meetings, would be the perfect medium for exploring the idea.

I don't have any firm script to try to sell them and don't see myself creating one, but years after the fact, in the municipality where the product is being tested, Guy Noir might be investigating a scandal involving the now-decades-old back room deals leading to the laying of the pipes, and the lack of proper fiduciary management of the maintenance fund.

It would be a metaphor for sewer and water infrastructure in KCMO, and would make sense to include in the show the next time they broadcast live from Starlight theater.
