cellphone rebate pettiness
Dear, David.
Thank you for contacting the T-Mobile Rebate
Center. I have researched your inquiry and
I was able to put your second rebate into
processing. I do apologize for the delay but
we do ask that each rebate be submitted in a
separate envelope as one rebate per envelope
is scanned into our system. However, as a one
time courtesy I was able to reprocess your
second rebate as it does show that two rebate
submissions were mailed in the envelope that
we have received. I would ask that you please
allow 4-6 weeks at the most to receive your
rebate. In the mean time you may view your
status at our website. www.tmobilerebates.com
If you have any further questions please feel
free to contact me.
Sincerely, Justin M T-Mobile Customer Care
On the way to achieving this I experienced what may be described as callcenter fu --- the rebates are handled entirely separately from their normal business. The customer service (dial 611) people were able to transfer me there, but withbad directions: I was told that if I press * I would get a live person. I dutifully pressed * and discovered that pressing * on that system ends everything and hangs up.Why am I blogging this petty stuff when there is greatness afoot? I should expend what spare moments I have doing useful things like integrating ekismet into TJGFH or doing my homework for business plan class.
